“135 days of training from P’Tan Globish”

From the beginning of 2021, our milestone was restricted by the current performance encompassing an unfinished website from Indian Programmers and a low margin. Consequently, all goals were not predicted on a high scale since we were afraid that they might not be done in practice. While after we have been trained by P’Tan this semester, our team can see the clear achievement along with the systematic procedures to achieve that goal through learning from many activities and case studies.

The most preferable activities

OKRs (Objective Key Results) 2021–2023

This activity enables me to see the clear goals of SOPet in the long term along with the reason why the services arise, a clear objective, and the key result to prove that objective by brainstorming every team member’s ideas to gain the finalized result that everyone agrees on making us see the clear path that all of us can follow easier and ensure that all members have same achievements.

Customer journey workshop

This class was really enjoyable since P’Tan allowed me to use creative and communication skills to create the story linking with others. It can practice and test whether our different stories can be merged as the same storyline or not. It can ensure that our mindset and perception with SOPet are in a similar field and ready to be included in our website or not.

Case study

Ping An Good doctor, a teleconsultation platform for medical in China. This is the most practical example that we can follow and adapt the business model with our business which enables us to see the whole picture and analyze the key message that can reflect the success of this platform and how we can apply it with our own.

Deliverables

Website (sopet.co)

After we found new programmers, it seems that there is a light in the tunnel. Because we have P’Tan to aid us in checking the performance and monitoring the progress. Along with sharing some tips to check the website prudently to avoid dissatisfied website from India that we have an experience before. Therefore, P’Tan wanted to separate the roles and responsibilities for each person clearly to create effectiveness within the project.

Tasked assign on website → UX department

This is challenging making me step away from my comfort zone since I never touch this kind of work before and there are many tiny and complex details that I need to clarify but nothing can change in one day. I have to adjust myself by engaging and paying attention to joining the meeting with programmers to see the progress of the website and keep updating with others to prevent mistakes.

Business plan: Marketing and basket size increasing plan

This plan is created from OKRs strategy that we did together. It provides us the clarity to see the opportunity to increase our margin and the number of customers along with the way to make our business as an ecosystem for pet.

Conclusion

Overall, what our team receive this semester is not only the tangible website or marketing plan but it is the experience to explore new aspects from other team members, insightful lesson that we can implement it in reality, and especially to know each other better through asking questions and exchange the ideas and opinion on each topic to gain the best result. Moreover, I can observe high self-improvement level on my analytical thinking through all activities in this training course compared to last semester. It enables me to be more confident when I want to express some ideas or opinion. Lastly, I have to say thank you to P’Tan, P’Film, and P’Ronnie for bring our mentors and give beneficial advices for us to improve and make our goal reach the achievement as we expected and become at this point.
